Mrs. Arpana Khurana 34 year's resident of Gaziabad UP is married since last 6 years .She was unable to conceive. All tests on her husband were found to be normal.
Earlier she tried IVF twice in the year 2004 and 2006 unfortunately both were failure pregnancy test also did not became positive even once. Same was the fate with Intra Uterine Insemination.
When she attended this clinic in the month of May 2008 for treatment she had many complications. She had amenorrhea for two months, her uterine lining was very thin Luteinizing Hormone pattern was disturbed and she had right side tube blockage. She had been much investigated carrying huge file of investigations.
She was carefully examined according to Acupuncture constitution and treatment strategy was planned .Twice a week treatment was started.

I first priority was to resume her menses and it was after 2 weeks of treatment that she her periods resume normally.
Next priority was given to improve her uterine linings (Endometrial Thickness) and a treatment was planned for this .She responded well to the treatment and lining became almost normal during the second cycle,
At this stage a talked to her obstetrician and it was decided that instead of focusing to remove obstruction from the right fallopian tube we should concentrate on normalizing her luteinizing hormone levels which was achieved during the third cycle .
During the course of treatment I had a close watch on her investigations and regular ultrasound scans were showing a healthy uterus with healthy linings.
Even she was improving but she could not conceive because in two successive cycles there was dominance of right ovary which had a tube blockage.
Although we have treatment for this ailment also but we waited for ovulation from the left ovary.
Luckily in the August 2008 left ovary became dominant, and at the time of ovulation she was administered 3 sittings to assist fertilization it was needed due to her body constitution .I waited for the results and it was a blissful morning for me. when I received a call from her husband on 4th September that for the first time pregnancy test showed positive result which is further confirmed by Ultra Sound scan also.
This treatment history shows that Chinese Medicine have answers for such problems, infact in many countries at the fertility clinics doctors from both the systems, Modern Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine work together for better results.
